When you purchase your Safari Swing ticket, you are not just buying a dance pass, you are purchasing entry into a truly incredible and unique dance experience.  From the moment you touch down in Johannesburg, we take care of every aspect of your trip, allowing you to relax and enjoy this unforgettable adventure.  Airport transfers, luxurious accommodation, gourmet food and drinks*, dance lessons from the world's top teachers, social dancing, incredible shows, local entertainment, and even guided safari game drives in the African bush are all part of the Safari Swing experience, and included in the ticket price. It really is a dance event like no other.

Booking Considerations

We are committed to ensuring that your Safari Swing experience is truly memorable, both on and off the dance floor. To help us achieve this, please consider the following points before booking:

• Accommodation Requirements: All bookings must meet the occupancy requirements of the chosen accommodation. 
• Role Balancing: Bookings must be role-balanced between lead and follow dancers. Workshop participation should align with the role booked.
• Dance participation: This event is intended for West Coast Swing dancers. To ensure that both you and your fellow dancers get the most out of the event, we respectfully request that only people who wish to participate in the dance related activities of the event make a booking. Unfortunately, due to limited space, we are unable to offer places to non-dancers at this time.
• Age Restriction:  All guests must be 18 years or older at the time of booking. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate younger participants due to insurance constraints. 
• Individual bookings: We will offer a limited number of places to solo leaders and followers. We will then do our best behind the scenes to pair you with another solo booker, with whom you will share a room, at which point, subject to confirmation from both parties, we will confirm your place. 

Note that room occupants can be amended after booking, as long as the updated, overall booking meets the above requirements. For example, a leader and follower booking a room together can join with another leader and follower and swap rooms so that two leaders share one room and two followers share the other.

Payment Terms for Safari Swing 2026

Initial booking and payment

 Once you submit your booking request via the Safari Swing website, you will receive a confirmation email from our team containing a secure credit card payment link. Upon receipt of this link, you will have 72 hours to complete payment and confirm your booking. 

Payment options

For Safari Swing 2026, we are offering two payment options - 

Option 1 - Payment in full. 

We will send you a credit card link to allow you to pay for your trip in one transaction. You may find this beneficial, particularly if you wish to take advantage of a preferential exchange rate. 

Option 2 - Extended payment option. 

Pay an initial deposit to confirm your booking, followed by up to ten instalments, depending when you book. We will provide a credit card payment link, allowing you to pay the deposit and set up a monthly payment from your card to cover the balance. 

Extended payment option

Should you wish to take advantage of our extended payment option, payments will be arranged as follows - 

• Deposit: An initial deposit of 25% of the total booking cost to be paid within 72 hours of receiving your payment link.
• Instalments: The outstanding balance will be broken down into ten payments, due at the first of each month. The first instalment will be taken on the 1st October 2025, with the final instalment being taken on 1st July 2026. 
• For bookings made after these instalment dates have started, all preceding instalments must be paid along with the deposit before the booking is confirmed. The remaining balance can then be paid in line with remaining instalment dates. This will be fully outlined in your confirmation email.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, the following penalties apply: 

• Cancellations requested by 31st December 2025 will incur a penalty of 10% of the total booking cost.
• Cancellations requested between 1st January 2026 and 28th February 2026 will incur a penalty of 25% of the total booking cost.
• Cancellations requested between 1st March 2026 and 30th April 2026 will incur a penalty of 50% of the total booking cost.
• Cancellations requested between 1st May 2026 and 30th June 2026 will incur a penalty of 75% of the total booking cost.
• Cancellations requested received after June 30th 2026 will incur a penalty of 100% of the total booking cost.

Ticket Transfer

In the event that you can no longer attend Safari Swing, you have the option to transfer your ticket to another individual, subject to the following conditions:

• The transferee must meet the original terms of sale and adhere to the same payment schedule, or pay the full balance immediately.
• All parties involved in the original booking, including the event organizers, must agree to the ticket transfer.

Final Note

By booking your place at Safari Swing,  you confirm that you accept and agree to the above terms and conditions.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these terms.

Notwithstanding the above terms and conditions, we do understand that circumstances may change and we will always work with you to find a mutually agreeable solution.

• All payments should be made in GBP (£) to the Safari Swing business account, which will be advised in your booking confirmation.
• The booker is responsible to for any fees or commissions incurred as part of the transfer process
