When you purchase your Safari Swing ticket, you are not just buying a dance pass, you are purchasing entry into an incredible and unique dance experience. From the moment you touch down in Johannesburg, we take over while you relax and enjoy this amazing adventure. Luxurious accommodation, food and drinks*, transfers, dance lessons, social dancing, pro shows, and even guided game drives in the African bush, are all part of the Safari Swing experience and are all included within the ticket price. The price of your Safari Swing ticket is based on the accommodation you choose at the Safari Swing game lodge, with options detailed below. For more information on room types, please visit the Hotels page.

Standard Suite - Only 2 rooms remaining!

Standard suites at the Safari Swing lodge are stunning, with a huge, comfortable bed, a private terrace overlooking the reserve and a spacious bathroom with twin sinks, a free standing bath and an outdoor shower.

Two Bedroom Suite - Only one room remaining!

Two bedroom suites are made up of two standard suites, both featuring the same, high quality amenities, separated by a spacious living room, with a large terrace overlooking the reserve. Bedroom doors can be locked for additional privacy.

Executive Suite - Sold out

Executive suites take your stay to the next level. Featuring all the benefits of a standard suite, the executive suites come with some additional comforts, including a terrace area with a private, heated pool, which is ideal for cooling down after a day of dance workshops and bush trekking. The bathroom also features an indoor steam shower and private, double outdoor shower.

Private Villa - Only 1 room remaining!

Our top accommodation option features two luxurious bedrooms, separated by a spacious lounge, which leads onto a large terrace in a prime position overlooking the game reserve. The terrace also features a private, heated pool, where you can soothe your dance legs and watch for animals passing by the villa.

booking ConSiderations and payment terms

Booking Considerations

We are committed to ensuring that your Safari Swing experience is truly memorable, both on and off the dance floor. To help us achieve this, please consider the following points when planning your trip:

Accommodation Requirements: Bookings must meet the occupancy requirements of the chosen accommodation. Due to the boutique nature of this event, single places are not currently available.
Role Balancing: Bookings must be role-balanced between lead and follow dancers. Workshop participation should align with the role booked.
Dance participation: This event is intended for West Coast Swing dancers. To ensure that both you and your fellow dancers get the most out of the event, we respectfully request that only people who wish to participate in the dance related activities of the event make a booking. Unfortunately, due to limited space, we are unable to offer places to non-dancers at this time.
Age Restriction: All individuals making bookings must be 18 years old or older. Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate younger participants at this time due to insurance constraints.

Note that room occupants can be amended after booking, as long as the booking meets the above requirements. For example, a leader and follower booking a room together can join with another leader and follower and swap rooms so that two leaders share one room and two followers share the other.

Payment Terms

Initial booking and deposit

Once you have submitted your booking request through the Safari Swing website, and received a reservation confirmation from the Safari Swing team, you will have 14 days to pay a minimum deposit of 25% of the total booking cost to confirm your booking. Payment details will be provided in your confirmation booking.

Payment of balance

Payment of the full balance will be accepted to confirm your booking, which may be useful if you wish to take advantage of a preferential exchange rate. However, if you prefer to spread your payments, you can take advantage of our 4-Pay option, by spreading your payments across four instalments, broken down as follows

First instalment: An initial deposit of 25% of the total booking cost to be paid within 14 days of booking confirmation.
Second Instalment: A further payment of 25% of the total booking cost is due by February 29th, 2024.
Third Instalment: The third payment of a further 25% of the total booking cost is due by April 30th, 2024.
Final Instalment: The fourth and final payment of 25% of the total booking cost is due by June 30th, 2024.

Bookings made after any of the above instalment dates will require all preceding instalments to be paid before the booking is confirmed, which may reduce the number of installments. For the avoidance of doubt, the following minimum deposit payments will be required to confirm a booking -

Bookings confirmed prior to 29th February 2024 - 25% of the total booking cost
Bookings confirmed after 29th February and prior to 30th April 2024 - 50% of the total booking cost
Bookings confirmed after 30th April 2024 and prior to 30th June 2024 - 75% of the total booking cost
Bookings confirmed after 30th June 2024 - 100% of the total booking cost

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are subject to the following penalties:

Cancellations requests received by February 29th, 2024, will incur a penalty of 25% of the total booking cost.
Cancellation requests received between 1st March 2024 and April 30th 2024 will incur a penalty of 50% of the total booking cost.
Cancellation requests received between 1st May 2024 and June 30th 2024 will incur a penalty of 75% of the total booking cost.
Cancellation requests received after June 30th 2024 will incur a penalty of 100% of the total booking cost.

Ticket Transfer: In the event that you can no longer attend Safari Swing, you have the option to transfer your ticket to another individual, subject to the following conditions:

The transferee must meet the original terms of sale and adhere to the same payment schedule.
All parties involved in the original booking, including the event organizers, must agree to the ticket transfer.

By booking your place at Safari Swing, you acknowledge and agree to these payment terms and cancellation policies. We understand that circumstances may change, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these terms.

All payments should be made in GBP (£) to the Safari Swing business account, which will be advised in your booking confirmation.
The booker is responsible to for any fees or commissions incurred as part of the transfer process
The amount paid into the Safari Swing account should match the amount on your invoice in GBP (£)
